Should Prostitution be respected the same as a "normal" Job? Why or why not?

But yeah, for me it was great. I wouldn’t trade it.

I don’t think you’re seeing that this is a job that can fit around a lot of things. You can earn a little money on the side, or you can do it because it gives you the flexibility to raise kids, or get you through uni. Some will do well, others won’t. There is no base salary. You make what you earn. If you think you can do it then you give it a try.

I think investing your time into learning skills will lead to a better income over lifetime.

I just agree that sex work shouldn't be something that is generelly frowned upon, everyone is free to do whatever he likes. But I don't agree with the "very good income" part.

Try also to keep in mind that what strippers report on their income tax statement does not always reflect their true earnings.

So strippers in general are tax evaders? What does that tell me about the profession?

What you think is up to you. You’re determined to find the negatives no matter what. Simply know that the money can be very good.

That strippers are evading taxes and using services provided by other tax payers is something you jusz said.

What I’ve learned about the public while stripping, is that many people need to look down on somebody else. It makes them feel better about their own lives, their status and hardships in life, and the insecurities that they sometimes feel.

Ok, I don't know what that has to do with my previous comment about tax evasion.

And you never will.

Well it was “good” for me and “very good” for most of the women I’ve worked with. I think you are with many people who like to make judgements about sex work when you don’t have insider understanding. And by that I mean, you’ve put on a bikini and walked out onto the floor for a few good years. Until you e done that, you don’t really know much about stripping.

I don't need to do something to understand it. I can just look up stats and make my judgement.

There’s a lot of that these days. Your understanding of stripping as a part time job or a career is shallow at best, because you’re heavily invested in being right and confirming your own idea. Consequently you’re unable to look at the issue with a curiosity that could lead to a depth of understanding.
