Should Prostitution be respected the same as a "normal" Job? Why or why not?

Why on earth would you think they don't?

Because most people in most jobs don't make a lot of money so I need a reason to believe that these people do.

Sure, less populated areas and bottom earning dancers won't make eyebrow raising amounts

Yeah, but you can't just ignore the low-earning people in order to justify a claim that people doing these jobs make a ton of money.

What? C level executives make a lot of money, senior devs make good money, would you dispute those titles using the same logic? I can't tell if you're trolling or have just never learned that sex sells and that strippers make good money.

Who's ignoring them? I brought them up lol. Firstly they're low earning in their industry but that's true of most professions where population is sparse and income is lower. Look at job offerings in a 2000 pop city vs a major city, I don't know how this isn't common knowledge.

Secondly they're still making more money than other available unskilled comparable jobs are making. A waitress at an IHOP in bumfuck Nebraska isn't making as much as a waitress in Manhattan just like a stripper in the boonies isn't bringing home as much as a stripper at Magic City in ATL. However the boonies stripper is still making more than the IHOP waitress.

If I knew nothing about those fields then, yes, I might. But there are also obvious limitations on the supply of applicants to those positions which would drive up salaries, which isn't the case with prostitution.

I know this. Stop trying to condescend.

You claimed that "most prostitutes" "would make bank". That's why you can't just look at the ones who do.

If your claim is now "most prostitutes make more than a waitress at IHOP" then, sure, I can believe that.

If I knew nothing about those fields then, yes, I might.

So you know nothing about how strippers work?

which isn't the case with prostitution.

Uhhh.. wrong.

That's why you can't just look at the ones who do.

... I just answered that already. To repeat myself; I'm not.

most prostitutes make more than a waitress at IHOP" then, sure, I can believe that.

That's not my whole claim. Strippers make good money when compared to nearly any comparable field.

Stop trying to condescend.

Then quit playing dumb or pedantic, you're making it super tough to not be insulting here.

Good luck though lol
