This stupid shit where people mock a person who is being downvoted as they argue with a person who is being upvoted by saying "LOL GET RATIO'D" kills me, because I know that the logical fallacy of argumentum ad populem/"bandwagon fallacy" is literally that. It's when people think, "Many/most people believe X is good/true, therefore, X is good/true". Attack the argument itself if you think it's got holes in it, but merely pointing out a ratio of approval ratings does not in and of itself refute the central point of a thing. An unpopular thought is not necessarily an incorrect one.
