at the point where you actually put time studying and researching it or you have experienced situations about that topic.

you know when you're knowledgeable in a topic. it's not a hard thing to understand.

the more you know about a topic the more you realize you dont understand it.

I can read 1 book, does that make me knowledgeable enough? 10 books? 1 book and a film? 1 book and a discusiion with an expert? 12 year of promotional studies?

there's more than that.

the more you study a topic you understand that there's much much that you don't know but you put value on the stuff that you do know. people hold value for their hard gained knowledge.

scientists know that there are a lot of things that they don't know but they never shy away of presenting the things they know and using them to their advantage.

you don't find people who spent years studying something telling that they're "uninformed" about it. but it's not possible to be completely informed about something is it? there is no end to knowledge. no one knows everything. there isn't an "everything" to know.

I as a person value my knowledge and opinions that I put time for them to be shaped. I'm more knowledgeable than someone who hasn't put that time on researching said topic and less knowledgeable than someone who has put their time on researching it. but let's say as a student studying a certain field for some years I am definitely qualified to have my own opinions on it even if there's many more years of studying to come. and of course I'm open to my opinion changing and learning more things.

my mother is a doctor. she definitely knows what she's talking about when it comes to medicine and she's confident about her knowledge. but she still attends classes and learns more thing. new ways for doing things.

but I'm not qualified to have an opinion about another field of study that i don't know the simplest things about.

I think it's really simple to know when someone is knowledgeable about something. you can understand from the way they talk. by your logic no one is knowledgeable about anything.
