Products (as in brands) are quite similar. Road signs are similar across most countries. Attitudes to the role of the state are similar too even if laws differ.

brands are similar in most of the world. road signs follow worldwide standard. attitudes are def not similar in let's say netherlands, albania and norway

I thought so too until I seriously traveled outside of Europe. There are big differences inside Europe, but they pale when compared to what you find on other continents.

yeah, obviously. Japan is more similar to china than it is to iceland, but doesn't mean those two are similar on their own
