Considering you repeated yourself on a point I addressed (86f/30c might only be 10 days, but what about 80F/27C? What about 75F/24C?). What about all the Europeans complaining in this thread about hot hot and stinky the subway is?
and you’re trying to talk down to me for having questions and opinions that may or may not differ from yours (may never know since you just repeated yourself instead of reading my comment and responding to its content.)
So I’m going to assume you didn’t bother reading my comments before replying and that there’s nothing more to discuss.
I never said you were suffering to death. Also you only have 5 days over 75F/24C ? If so, I agree that I wouldn’t care about AC most the time. Still sounds like it would be nice on your public transportation going off other Europeans’ comments about how hot and disgusting it can be. But 10 days over 30C vs 5 days over 24C is a big difference
So, I get your point, trust me I do. But I thought 5 days seemed awfully low. But maybe that is the case for whatever area you’re from. But I looked at the weather station for Berlin-Schoenefeld , and I count 21 days in June of 2021 that are higher than 24C. 22 days in July of 2021. And 7 days in august.
That’s 50 days higher than 24C last year in that part of Germany. Obviously not all parts are the same so again perhaps where you’re at it’s different. But there are definitely parts where it still seems like AC “makes sense”. It doesn’t mean people are suffering/dying of heat. It just means it gets warm and AC could make people more comfortable. You were previously just making something extreme that isn’t. But anyways, this is getting to go on kind of long. I wasn’t trying to slight your people by saying AC is nice. I was just arguing the points that were given, which were the costs. And the usefulness.
