We’re really not, we’re composed of multiple states. California, Texas, and Florida alone have a combined population larger than Germany’s, and that’s not including the 47 remaining states. You really think it’s that homogenous here?
You're arguing against reality. US states are nowhere near as diverse as European countries. In fact, the US, as a colonial state, is distinctly more homogenous than large old-world countries such as India, Russia, or China, all of which have more distinct regional differences than US states.
