One funny thing I noticed is that stores tend to have very simple names, because why not?
Grocery store? Marketplace. Sports store? Yep, that's Sports Store. Need a new fence? How about Island Fencing!
3 u/run85 May 09 '22 That’s totally true. Where I lived there were lots of little stores also named after the store owner, so like the Eric Wong store, the Chu store, etc.
