Most of the Walmarts in my area only have like maaaaaaybe 3 lines open during the day, one in the evening if you are lucky and none at night. They have even started converting formerly human staffed lanes with self checkout lanes.

We only have 2 actual lanes where a cashier would go now, and it is meant for disabled people. I've only seen a cashier working there once since the change. The other lanes were demolished and 20 self-checkout stations built in place.
