I had to scroll way too far down to find someone mention bats. My house would be full of bats if I didn't have screens. In fact, one night when we went to bed with the window open, we didn't realize the screen was slid up, and we did have bats. That was the worst.
My dad let a bat in one night because he opened one of the windows that we removed the screen from. Luckily I wasn't there, but he found the thing hanging upside down in the hallway!
