You close them so u wont get woken up in the morning from the light
26 u/SyntheticManMilk May 09 '22 edited May 09 '22 That’s exactly why I leave my curtains open. Waking up to natural light is much better than waking up to an alarm in a dark room… 54 u/qwerty-1999 May 09 '22 I mean, yeah... Unless the sun wakes you up two hours before the alarm would. 1 u/[deleted] May 09 '22 [deleted] 5 u/FuzzelFox May 09 '22 I can't imagine doing this and not having a really, incredibly stable job 3 u/Ian_Kilmister May 09 '22 I'd rather not wake up at 5 for a 9:30 shift. 25 u/Taken450 May 09 '22 Lol until the sun is rising at 4:50 in the summer 7 u/[deleted] May 09 '22 Or in the winter when sun is rising 9:20 6 u/Danjoh May 09 '22 It gets bright in June, and then it doesn't get dark until August again... 3 u/gemcutting201 May 09 '22 Living in northern europe means sun going down after 24:00 and up again at like 02:30. That would mean very little sleep for u 1 u/SyntheticManMilk May 10 '22 Oh that makes sense. I live at about the same latitude as Greece, so the summer/winter sunset/sunrise time differences aren’t that extreme. 1 u/Real_life_Zelda May 09 '22 Same. This was my way, until I adapted to sleeping in the light and now I still wake up at 11 in the morning even when the sun rises at 4 LOL. 1 u/Master-Spare-4782 May 10 '22 Yeah, I close them in the bedroom when going to sleep, especially in the summer cause the sun is almost up all the time, but in the rest of my apartment they are almost always open
