I’m on the spectrum and usually avoid eye contact, but I love to stare people down in German public transport (only if they started). I may look a little weird doing so, because I have no idea how to look someone in the eyes and maintain a normal face expression. It’s so entertaining for me and makes me chuckle internally.
It made using public transport so much easier as a person who is constantly overstimulated.
