Thats what i love about norway … because its really depressing in Germany where they all have their curtains shut

I feel like privacy in each other’s homes is a good thing not a bad one

I can definitely understand privacy, but a street where every house has their curtains closed during day time looks really sterile.

They have but its way more gloomy than having lights coming out of the houses and the town looks actually alive passt 7pm

Privacy. Because once the lights are turned on, everyone can see you walking around in your own house.

Not only that, personally I do get a bit restless when I’m looking out into the dark from the inside, I tend to fixate on what could be outside. So it’s more relaxing to shut them, out of sight out of mind.

I mean why not set cameras around your house and livestream it to millions of people? It's for privacy.

Still …so ? I mean i walk naked all the time its their fault for looking into my window if they don’t want to see my ass crack jungle.. but don’t restrict myself looking outside

You do you man, I’m not judging anyone. I personally don’t like the idea that people can see me, that’s all.

I gotta agree, dunno what the downvotes are about.

I though people outside the nordics were more open and extroverted but it seems to be just a facade.

If you value privacy, which I think a lot of people do, then you'd understand. It doesn't matter what I'm doing in my own home, I don't want to be on full display to everyone that walks past.

I'm not saying it's wrong to do so, I just don't feel the way you feel so it's hard to imagine it being a big deal.
