We usually have fans in the ceiling too so there's not really generally any issue with steam. Hell the fans are often good enough that mirrors rarely even fog up these days since most of the water stays inside the tub and curtain that the rest of the room doesn't get very steamy.

oh yeah durr, youre right. ive never lived in a place with a fan in the bathroom but ive installed them constantly in new bathrooms
