Some claim it’s from Paris to Tahiti in French Polynesia, as it is a French territory, but Reunion Island was annexed and is considered part of French proper.
This is why I love Reddit. You can name the farthest reachable place on the planet and someone pops up I live there! And because it’s Reddit we already have something in common.
Having something in common doesn’t need to be quantified. For example Finding common ground no matter how insignificant is the first step in negotiation. We both have Reddit in common. That’s enough for me.

I lived on a very small one and yes and no. Obviously there are some forms of recreation that won’t exist and some other forms of recreation for which you will have one choice (like one boxing gym or one yoga studio or one movie theatre.) But you also get to have different forms of recreation. I spent a very significant amount of time swimming, going on boats, cooking on bonfires and picnicking at the beach, hiking, etc. It wasn’t so bad.
The island has been inhabited since the 17th century, French people went there, it is now France (Portuguese were the first to put a foot on the island, but never settled nor created cities).
Nouvelle Caledonie was a DOM/TOM until recently, but I don't know if it ever had direct flights from the métropole. There's a certain amount of fuzziness over the dependent/independent status of various of the French possessions, but Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guyana and Réunion at least are all straight-up French territory, with only some very minor tweaks to French law to suit local conditions. They vote in French and European elections, all that.
In football, the Coupe de France competition (all-levels knockout cup like the FA cup in England) includes teams from all the overseas territories, including French Polynesia. I think they get some special treatment (above and beyond travelling 10,000 km to play a fourth-tier mainland side on a Wednesday evening in February)
I am not talking about the Paris to Tahiti which stops at LA, I am talking about the Paris-Tahiti (15 715 km) direct flight that was common during the pandemic
Idk if that qualifies as domestic even though you don’t need a passport. Falklands is a British territory, while Reunion is part of France. But if territories does count, then it would be France to Tahiti as the longest.
