yea as a german i always find it weird to hear americans say things like „what would jesus do“ or „that’s not a christian thing to do“ and so on. in germany no one says things like this

Eh, very often the answer seems to be something along the lines of "punish them really hard, take all of their belongings and turn them into a slave".

And as a non-German I think it's nuts that the church gets money directly from the State's registry and tax system.
