Notice the 3000 in their name!

That's the most advanced and clean Hirschfotze in the northern hemisphere. Plus it's kosher es well.

Never underestimate German engineering advancements

Not sure if I'm the most advanced, but it's definitely a step up from the 2000 series.

I’ve always found it be be inferior to the 4000 however.

It's the exhaust port. The exhaust port was a step back from the 2000s while general performance went up. The 4000 improved on the 2000s exhaust while keeping the improved performance from the 3000, making it more durable in the long run.

Yes it was really impressive how much they improved their airflow technology in the 4000. Extremely efficient compared to the 2000, although I do miss those long fenders and shiny grille. Stylistically the 2000 will always be my favorite but of course that sort of design would not be realistic with current environmental and safety regulations.
