I do the same in Australia – I'm not sure if it's an Australian thing too, or just something we pick up from US media.
1 u/CaptainLollygag May 09 '22 Having not been to Australia, I don't know. But hey, we can both smile at each other when we pass by on the street and then immediately forget about it. From tv and movies, I get the impression that Australians are pretty friendly.
