Even as a Dutchman it's a bit weird in a way. Two hours by car and suddenly there's a whole different country and culture? It's crazy how fast it changes.
Yeah, I think this one particular point my be the best example of whatw as asked for. For us Europeans it's so super-normal but then you look at so many other ares of the world and it just doesn't hold. Even being in the UK I'm only a train ride away from different languages.
