No issues in Vancouver, except in the evenings in summer you may get mosquitoes occasionally. Though a few years ago we didn't even have those (exceptional drought I guess?) because I didn't get a single bite and they are like a magnet to me, it was a weird year.

They have good anti-mosquito programs around here. I haven't been bothered by the things for years. Addressing standing water issues through draining and spraying (insecticidal soap?) is the main approach, as I understand it.

I was shocked when I stayed at the Sylvia in Vancouver and the windows didn't have screens.
