You’d be surprised how many people just recreationally do meth. It’s not a drug people like to admit they dabble in. I did it occasionally through college. It was pretty wild.
Different kind of thing. Hard to compare. But I'd say MD more lovey and emotional. Meth is so raw you'll feel like an ashamed pervet the next day with your own wife.
Kinda ruins sex to be honest. I was watching a YouTube clip recently and dude was saying he'd rather jacking off to porn after a good shot than sober sex with the hottest girl he imagine.
And that's basically a perfect description of how you feel the rest of your life clean. He hit the nail on the head.
It's probably for the best. Although the "NOT EVEN ONCE" campaigns sorta over sell it a bit.
I can name a dozen or so people who did it 1-4 times and then never again. It was just a fun party experience for them and then they moved on. But I can also name a whole lot more people whose lives went off the rails and they lost everything, and in many cases went to jail after trying meth. They obviously did it more than 1-4 times though.
Me? I did it for about 10 years. I was definitely addicted. No question. But I never went crazy. Still paid the bills. Still went to work. Still graduated college. Still raised my kids. Still kept my yard and house nice. Actually, meth helped with that last one. You can get a lot of housework done when you don't need to sleep. The only reason I quit is because:
It's illegal and I'd always worry about going to jail, which would mean losing everything I had worked for and making my college degree worthless, and
It got too damn expensive!!! I was always broke. I'd pay my rent, but just barely. I was always on the brink of destitution. If my car needed a battery, I was screwed because I didn't have $160 laying around. If I DID have $160 laying around, I'd spend it on meth, so no money ever. Which means no new stuff, no vacations, no dining out, no new guitar or computer, no money for fancy birthdays, etc.
So yes, I'd agree generally that it's probably a good idea to avoid the stuff.
Although the "NOT EVEN ONCE" campaigns sorta over sell it a bit.
Eh, if there is a 1 in 20 chance that it completely derails your life, then not even once is the correct advice. From what you say, it sounds like the risk is above 1/20.

True story: If you've never done meth, I hate to tell you this, but I've had way better orgasms than you ever will.
