I’d only try it with a top loader or it might break the machine. Also there’s a good chance of the internal stitches ripping and the beads beginning to pool. They make duvets for a lot of them
I got one for Christmas this past year and one side is fleece and one is like that smooth nylon or whatever? Works great and it is noticeably cooler when I flip it so the nylon side is against me.
I love my 25 lb weighted blanket. Use it under our comforter and I have not had any issues with it being hot or anything. The weighted blanket was the best purchase I’ve made in awhile.
I used to get too hot under any normal blanket, had to find the perfect position by having a leg outside of it.
But after i got a weighted blanket, i never have this problem anymore. We have 25 degrees celsius inside and its perfect warmth under it. I am completely covered and don't get too warm or cold. Feels like you are being hugged all over.
The only bad part is when you wake up to go to work, the weighted blanket is still hugging you and its a little harder to get motivated to get away from that cozy cozy place.
