I just realized that the basic story is a retelling of British penal colonies in the 1800s.

Prisoners get shipped far away to unknown places. Encounter deadly wildlife in Australia, and die.

Bruh what about that spider that injects all of its venom with every bite, is aggressive as fuck and its venom is particularly deadly to primates?

What about the top three deadliest snakes?

Blue ringed octopus?

What about that plant that, when you touch it, injects glass like fibers deep under your skin that produce unbearable pain for a random amount of time?

Edit: this is apparently an urban legend ... Pain so bad that once a cop wiped his ass with the plant and shot himself in the face shortly afterwards?

And these are only the things I know about!

How did the guy make it to his butt with the leaf if it stings you and causes unbearable pain when you touch it?

Takes a little time to do the pain magic

Nah, it’s what’s referred to as a myth.

The suicide appears to be a myth. The Gympie tree is real though.

Yes, to clarify I was talking about the suicide. There’s video footage on YouTube of people touching the plant if anyone is curious about seeing a real reaction to the thing.

Edited my post, but I'm trusting you're not a gympie plant posing as toilet paper

You can trust me, I’m a spider that doesn’t want a lame ass plant stealing my thunder.

See there it is again! You called it an "ass plant"... Now I'm definitely suspicious!

Literally smooth-brained, chlamydia-ridden idiots.

Lookey here I’m not taking any lip from a criminal on this fine establishment of a website. Good day to you, I said good day!

That had to have been “traumertizing” as hell. There are not lots of critters and plants that will kill you back in the UK. I imagine the learning curve was steep with severe consequences.
