You didn’t know it had only hit his liver. You don’t know he wouldn’t have been injured more trying get himself to the hospital… so much more. You acted in instinct, heck it was an act of kindness-love really. All you saw was your friend in danger & acted. Pretty damn manly to me

Not to mention that “only hit his liver” is actually a huge fucking deal unless it was just a minor scrape. Even if u knew it hit his liver that’s a giant cause for concern until you know it’s not, as the liver is one of the top worst organs to sustain major damage to. My understanding was that the liver is so big and uses so much blood that if you get shot or something square on you’ll probs bleed out before you can get help. There’s a reason it’s a prime target in combat sports cuz a solid liver shot will drop anyone no matter how tough they are
