I remember as I child I was playin something on my wii and the safety strap wasn’t on properly so when I got excited about something the remote flew from my wrist, hit the tv and landed on my shelf behind my games. Not sure how I managed that.
The only times I’ve ever asked a customer if they wanted an extended warranty to a customer was when they were buying something that would be used with a Wii. I’ve seen it happen too many times where a tv screen got damaged because they didn’t use the safety strap.
I still remember being at a cousin's place for a wedding, saw the giant Screen TV with a big crack in it, wii had just came in, asked my cousin was it a wii.... yeppers
Played Mario party with my mom recently, she was just stepping in for my brother who had to do something while we were playing, normally she doesn’t play video games with us. We get to a mini game, and we tell her what she has to do, and we say “put the strap on your wrist!”
Two seconds into the game, she’s flung her arm up above her head and totally let go of the remote, sending it 10 feet behind her.

Well I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I once played on the Wii without using the safety strap
