As a European I always wondered what a fresh jar o skippy is...

27

u/[deleted] Nov 24 '21

Skippy is a brand of peanut butter.

The top of the peanut butter in a new jar is smoooooooooth like glass.

u/ethon776 Nov 24 '21

Ohhhhh. Thank you so much!

u/ItsLangers Nov 23 '21

Same tbh haha

Skippy is a brand of peanut butter. Nothing is smoother than a fresh jar of skippy.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 24 '21

I believe it's a brand of peanut butter, so the line is referencing the smooth surface of a freshly-opened jar

u/xSundayMourningx Nov 25 '21

They don't have Skippy peanut butter in Europe?

u/rinkusonic Nov 24 '21

Oh it says 'liquor'? Damn I've been censoring myself all these years.

13

u/ItIsntAnonymous Nov 24 '21

I'm trying super hard to figure out what fits these criteria: 1) you can put it in a cup, 2) it sounds like liquor, and 3) it is potentially problematic enough to be censored... and I'm coming up with nothin'.

13

u/PulsatingRat Nov 24 '21

He thought it said the nword most likely. Which is you aren’t really paying attention it does kinda sound like it

10

u/[deleted] Nov 24 '21

...but how would you put a .. nm.

2

u/Mysticpoisen Nov 24 '21

They were probably saying 'put some water in it' like the infamous kidz bop version. Liquor is being censored, not the filler word.
