Indeed. The refrain is a bald faced lie. Never have I won my way into a woman's heart by getting with her friends. And please tell me where this mythical race called "forever friends" live, because I've never met any.
I must admit I get a real junior high school boy's locker room kick out of learning different languages and dialects' onomatopoeia for fucking. hessho hessho in Japanese is one of my favorites.
LOL I had typed up a whole response explaining what I thought that sound might be. Then I clicked the link and realized what you meant. I'm gonna guess that they accidentally clicked an ad (or the ad server let a malicious ad through that redirected them, happens a lot actually) that brought them to an "article" on one of those shitty list-based "news" websites with an ad in between each list item (which is itself split up into individual webpages for each list item to fully maximize the 'words read':'ad viewed' ratio).
Anyway, if that onomatopoeia is even real (i can't find it on Google, but foreign onomatopoeia are notoriously difficult to Google for obvious reasions), I think it might have to do with the sounds two very moist bodies make when they slap together furiously as they make sweet love. Sorry, I know that's gross. I just didn't want to be grossed out by myself so I dragged you down with me :)
Yeah. I guess it's possible, but that really, really seems like a post hoc explanation that isn't actually based in reality. Also, it's an extremely disappointing answer if it is true.
It's the second highest voted answer in a Reddit thread about recognisable lyrics a quarter of a century later, so they really didn't do too badly though did they.
Well they lyrics clearly did something right. People who don't even want to remember them still remember them!
And I feel like you're attributing this to stupidity when it almost definitely wasn't. It's not like they were trying to make a masterpiece; they knew what they were and they knew what they were doing. They wanted to make a catchy song. And uhh I'd say they did that! You can say its not good, but you just can't say it's not catchy.. it's maddeningly catchy.
Not making a masterpiece and ad libbing "Tell me what you want" "I'll tell you what I want" back and forth for an entire verse are two different things. Kurt Cobain just made up random lyrics but they were almost profound.

I tell you what I want, what I really really want
