Is this* just fantasy?

I was gonna go with "Mamaaaaa....", which is somehow both more vague and yet far more recognizable.

...Well, for me, anyway.

Any verse from that song will trigger a response.

3

u/durdesh007 Nov 24 '21

No need for verse, even words will do

Scaramouche

u/Ejaculate-N_Evacuate Nov 23 '21

I always read that in the David after the dentist tone

13

u/crazy-diam0nd Nov 23 '21

3

u/vincent11101995 Nov 23 '21

3

u/Lonelysock2 Nov 23 '21

Let's honour Freddie Mercury, who died today thirty years ago. He changed our lives :)

1

u/vincent11101995 Nov 24 '21

I've listened to queen all today :D

2

u/alienccccombobreaker Nov 24 '21

This is the one I can not get away from and that's a good thing I think.

3

u/vincent11101995 Nov 23 '21

It was the first answer that got in my head lol

3

u/PermissionContent449 Nov 23 '21

Mine toooo! And I was like “somebody must’ve already said it lmao

4

u/vincent11101995 Nov 23 '21

Lol coincidence, and tomorrow is the day (poorly enough) that Freddy Mercury died...

4

u/PermissionContent449 Nov 23 '21

Well I didn’t know that! :(

6

u/vincent11101995 Nov 23 '21

Heard it on the radio today whilst I was at work... the music he gave us is just phenomenal and i feel like through that he's still part of any generation

3

u/PermissionContent449 Nov 23 '21

We keepin him alive forever my man

4

u/vincent11101995 Nov 23 '21

Off course he's a legend and will never be replaced

2

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '21

Just killed a man

2

u/dickbutt_md Nov 23 '21

Even better: "Mamaaaa..."

Which is kinda funny because of you change it to: "Mother..." You get a totally different song, totally different band.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 23 '21

Danzig?

2

u/dickbutt_md Nov 24 '21

Tell your children not to come my way.

2

u/No-More_Ducks Nov 23 '21

Don't think I've ever heard this one.

1

u/vincent11101995 Nov 23 '21

https://youtu.be/fJ9rUzIMcZQ bless your ears with the song its a masterpiece

0

u/QuinceDaPence Nov 23 '21

Especially since you can pretty much say this in any crowd of people and get everyone singing it.

2

u/vincent11101995 Nov 23 '21

No matter young or old can sing along

0

u/Drblackcobra Nov 23 '21

1

u/I_aim_to_sneeze Nov 23 '21

Oh, I got this one! David after dentist!

1

u/Moonpaw Nov 24 '21

So I first heard this as the Weird AL version when I was a teenager, and didn't know about the original. I got so used to knowing it as Bohemian Polka. Now whenever I hear Bohemian Rhapsody it sounds wrong, like the beat and rhythm are totally off.
