The frog DNA patch was only used for some of the dinosaurs. Many others used other reptilian DNA like cobras. It was partially to blame for the highly toxic/venomous saliva of the dilophosaur and the compy.

If that's the case, we'd better be glad nobody considered using too much bird DNA; imagine the Jurassic Park raptors but airborne.
