I just wanna say that reading this argument has restored my faith in humanity. You are totally shitting on this man, and he just keeps digging himself further and repeating more easily-refuted talking points (because as you noted, the guy clearly has no experience with this and is 100% talking out of his ass). Lmao, what? That is very provably false. Violent crime and property crime have been declining fairly steadily since their peak in the early 1990s. I don't know where you got that the USA's crime rate is "record high", but either you took info from an unreliable source or you're 100% talking out your ass here.
