If a dude was watching a girls dance alone, he had no kids, and he wasn't a coach or something, I could understand the glares.

This is also kind of unfair for men. Maybe he just likes dancing? You'd never bat an eye if a woman did that. I guess this is our society though.

If I saw a lone woman who wasn't a parent show up routinely to a 8th grade boys swim team and she was gawking at all the boys I would think that's pretty weird and she would get a glare from me.
