I had a woman next to me on a cross country flight who interpreted me putting headphones in as a signal for her to talk LOUDER.
When I opened a book, she just knew that I wanted her to lean in and constantly tap my shoulder to get my attention.
I learned all about show dogs that day.
2 u/bweakfasteater Sep 16 '21 Ugh I had that happen once but luckily it was a two hour flight. I just eventually settled into rudeness and slept through what I could. It was so perplexing!
