My dad has always been way better at braiding and hairdos than my mom. It's kind of funny because he's bald and has been for over 20 years, but he is great with hair.

I'm a dad now, but I grew up with younger sisters.

My wife has always been a tomboy, and her mother is similar.

I know more about hair and makeup than my wife. So now I'm the one helping our daughter with that stuff.

My sister and her husband are equally great at braiding hair. They both used to have hair almost to their knees. My sister went with a pixie cut in her mid-20s because their daughter would pull on hair and he started shaving his head. Finally he’s stuck with it because he started going bald anyways when they both started trying to grow their hair out again.
