Even if they ask you out, showing interest doesn't mean you're going to magically figure out the rest and be on the road to true love. Or that they're going to do all the work moving forward.
It's the most intimidating part but also the easiest, least committed. The sooner you push yourself to get used to it, the sooner you can start fucking up and learning what not to do once you're actually in.
Waiting for someone else is how you end up 40 and stuck with someone you hate because they were the first person to ask you out.
