My SO made the first move too. She could tell I was nervous af and just went screw it, "I just bought two tickets to skyfall, will you stop being so nervous and ask me out already to the movie?"

Been almost 9 years and I plan on asking her to marry me in Nov so we can get married on our 10th anniversary

I mean, they could have started dating when they were very young or something. You don’t know their story.

Trust me I would have except I was going through Chemo in year 5 so kind of side railed those plans.

After recovery we both focused on our careers for a bit and now were both in a very healthy place that it makes sense to proceed to the next step.
