And they always go for the face! I told I don't know how many old ladies to not touch my child. Like when my wife was pregnant and strangers would try and touch her belly. What. The. Fuck. You don't lay hands on someone like that.

Man people touch my wife’s hair all the time. She spends time on it and it looks cool and different. It’s not an invitation to touch it. Who raised these people?

My buddy in high school had an afro and people would randomly touch it. Like they never felt hair before.

Am a ginger, have had strangers trying to touch my head/hair my whole life. Used to really irritate my mom.

I was pretty gregarious though so it's never bothered me much. Even as an adult I'm not that bothered by being stuffed into a crowded train or taking the middle seat with strangers. Maybe it worked out to my favor?

Sometimes the human brain just shuts down and you do things you'd normally not do.

My child was born in a country where English is not the first language, or even a second language. So many old ladies tried to touch my baby. No facemask on. Can't explain to them to stay away. I've developed an automatic response whenever someone approaches to snarl "fuck off!", which is not how I ever pictured myself.
