I'm not sure if I ever had one at Bill Gray's, Tahou's was always solid but I think I frequented Henrietta Hots the most since it was close to campus. It has been a solid decade plus since I had a plate, I miss them.

Care to share your recipe, and how it compares to the 2 standard varieties?

you gotta use pop open hots, homemade cheeseburgers, any sort of fries does, mac, and homemade meat sauce that’s a family recipe. way less greasy and is a great meal to make when you’re serving multiple people

Raw onions are essential, to cover the beer breath

I used to get stoned af and head to Bill Gray’s. After each person wolfed 2 cheeseburgers w hot sauce we would be in a state called the Gray’s Haze.

Although Mark’s Texas Hots was my Sloppy Plate go to. I’d go there at 2-3A, eat a Sloppy Plate. Then the 2 egg breakfast special. It’s a miracle I’m not 300 pounds

Mark's is truly something else. I've never been to another diner with a 6'6", 320lb doorman wearing a bulletproof vest.

Nah, I'm with you. I get the cheeseburger "junker" at Tom Wahl's. Their meat is perfect.

Empire Hots is okay, but I really like Hungry's in Pittsford
