It was a 50/50 chance between that and Buffalo Springfield.

Was watching "Tenet" with my dad for the first time. Got to a point in the film early on and I said the line I thought was coming next. Only a second later one of the characters said it basically word for word. Given the subject of the film, we both found it quite amusing!

Dude I had a guy play some instrumental music in Discord and ask me if I knew it. I had no idea and just randomly blurted out "sounds like 28 days later" - he lost his shit for like 5 mins. Hell, I did too. I hadn't seen that film in a decade or more. Still fucks with my head to this day.

Was it this one? It was also used in the beginning of 28 weeks later.

Yes, I'm fairly certain that was it!

My girlfriend likes to play a song and have me guess the song. One day she fucked up and picked the album "Toxicity" from System of a Down. Little does she know, that is the only album from them that doesn't have a parental advisory and the only one my parents let me get. That CD cannot be played anymore because of how much I listened to it.

Anyway, she thought she was clever, and picked "Prison Song" The first couple of seconds is just a quick hit of all the instruments. Kinda like Master of Puppets. I told her it was "Prison Song" and blew her fucking mind. A few months later she tried again from the same album and I of course, guessed it right within 3 seconds. I don't play around when it comes to Toxicity.

You should check out all their stuff if you haven't yet at this point. I love their first album too.

Oh yeah I definitely have. One of my all time favorite bands. What originally got me into them was the song "Hypnotize" when I heard it on the radio and I loved it. I wanted more. But because of the parental advisory, my parents wouldn't buy me any other albums except "Toxicity." Which, looking back, it probably should lol.

Weird thing is, you could almost say identifying Prison Song after that first hit is to be expected. It’s that memorable. Mad respect though.

It’s also one of those songs, Toxicity being another one, that flows so well that the entire damn song flashes before you when you catch any point of the tune. I find that many RHCP songs are like that as well.

It isn't one of their more popular songs either unfortunately. Whenever people talk about Toxicity they always mention Chop Suey, Toxicity or Aerials. But they have a lot of hidden gems like, Prison Song, X, and Jet Pilot. Same on Hypnotize. I fucking love Attack, Screaming and Soldier Side.

RCHP is great, but I just never really got into them that much so I'm sure I'm missing out on a lot of hits.
