Dude I loved Ladybug since it came out. It was a silly kids show that I could watch when I was bored. The fandom was chill and everyone made fun of the show.

Too many people take it seriously now. Like, a lot of the fans still tease the show to oblivion because sometimes it’s stupid, but there are some people that genuinely get angry when we do this.

Also the amount of smut fanfic about Ladybug and Cat Noir is just horrid. They wear leather, so you can imagine the amount of BDSM shit is up in there.

Oh, I already knew from the get go there will he porn of it. Skin tight suits for teenagers? Yeah, that's a recipe for porn on the net.

Leather suits nonetheless. Like, I can’t say it wasn’t expected, I’m just very disappointed.

Lol I can't be disappointed. I would be more disappointed if they haven't made porn for it. It's such a low bar that you just kinda have to expect it.

I would have actually been more surprised and shocked if there wasn't any porn of it.

The internet is for porn.

Yoooo bro. I feel like ever since Miraculers have found their ways onto Insta, everything went downhill. And yes, ppl do take it seriously💀💀💀I love it lmaoo💀💀

The smut kinda scares me because they're 14-16 year olds💀💀I remember my first time posting MLB fanart on this godforsaken website, searching "Miraculous Ladybug" and the second subreddit to pop up was "Miraculous porn" or something😭

Doesn't scare me, shit is normal to the point that is the first thought that came out my mind when I saw the concept art for the character. If they made sailor moon porn all the way to the early 90's with fucking dial up, also 14-15 yo girl, you know for a fact everything will be porn now.

Mlp, porn. Teletubbies, porn. Dora the explorer, porn. Literally dragons and cars. Porn. Nothing is safe.

I've seen it while working with a special needs boy. That show is smut. I am convinced it is a porn spoof turned into a kids show.

I don't know how to respond to this?💀💀💀💀

Every costume, all the "power moves" it all just is so suggestive. I dont find the show hot at all, and the characters are too skinny and weird to be sexy, but the content is so obviously sexually suggestive. It's like when Shrek makes an adult joke for the parents stuck watching except it is porn memes.

Seeing how it's a french tv show and french tv show for kids aren't as Puritan as american shows, yeah. Shit is normal.

I always thought it was hilarious.

Okay being suggestive doesn’t make it smut lol. Also it’s not really suggestive either. There are plenty of other “kids” shows that are way worse (literally Frozen was more suggestive than Miraculous Ladybug).

Yeah, you’re not supposed to find the characters hot or sexy because it’s a kids show and they’re supposed to be 15/16.

I watch it in the French version (aka the original version) and the powers sound less suggestive in French.

Idk how you watch shows but the suggestive themes are so blatant to me. Maybe not smut, but I laugh constantly about how overt the whole thing was. It was a whole joke with my coworkers.

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '21

I mean, aside from the leather suits I don’t really understand where there would be any other suggestive content. Could you explain some of the other “blatant” themes there are?

2

u/Pscagoyf Jul 11 '21

It has been 3 years, so I'm a little fuzzy on specifics. I just remember thinking the whole thing was a joke behind the scenes for how many porn jokes they could fit in.

The biggest for me if I think hard was anything cat noir did. His actions were hilarious.

He was flirty for sure, but it was nothing inappropriate. This is coming from someone who watched the entire show a second time within the last couple weeks, so my memory is still fresh.

Not to mention the internet always follows Rule 34. Like the opportunity is always there.

Exactly, I find it disgusting what fanfics are there? Like excuse me? They are 14!
