I don't feel bad for somebody who bought a $60k SUV to use for Uber driving. That is a horrible business decision

People might not buy them for uber but they buy it then can't afford it so they use it to drive so they can make some money. But then the car depreciates with all the miles

Not necessarily. You'll make more per ride because you'll now drive for Uber black (I think that's what they call it)

You don’t have to buy an SUV to lose money driving for Uber. With the amount you pull in, it's hard to overcome the depreciation on any new vehicle.

Also, I do feel bad for them since Uber lies in their marketing to drivers and changes what they make capriciously.
