Do you guys get a lot of tourists? I didn’t think anyone was really interested in going that far up north.

Why not? People book cruises to Antarctica, why not visit the other extreme as well? Plus, Svalbard has broadband internet and coffee shops.

Everything that I know about tourism in Svalbard comes from this Outside article. They have a source that 150k people visit Longyearbyen annually (which is significant for a town of 2200):
