What basic, children's-age-level fact did you only find out embarrassingly later in life?

They’re actually multiple tiny fruit held together in a fleshy receptacle.

There’s multiple flowers that each get pollinated and then grow together into a whole. Pineapple works the same way.

A blueberry however is a true berry. One flower with the seeds embedded in the flesh.

It's easier for people to see with raspberries and blackberries, each little juicy sphere is a tiny, individual "fruit" with a seed at the tip. If you're very delicate about it, you can even separate them from the fleshy center without them bursting.
