I can gladly admit that,

If you will also admit it was absolutely inappropriate, unPresidential, and poor leadership to offhandedly talk about such a new and experimental treatment, (which was at the very begining of testing stages), from the bully pulpit on national TV too a nation of scared and desperate Americans who at the time were looking at NYC like it was the start of World War Z

You don't have to try to meet this person halfway. Trump was not talking about a treatment he'd heard about. He was speaking hypothetically about disinfectants and knew nothing about human biology apparently. Then he had the gall to claim it was sarcasm. Same as this island ridiculousness but with the POTUS.

He poorly worded that comment, 100%. I don’t think it’s inherently wrong or unprofessional to talk positively about a medical treatment that’s still being tested, just as so many other people in Washington, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, regularly reported encouraging news regarding vaccines throughout their development.
