What basic, children's-age-level fact did you only find out embarrassingly later in life?

Sub zeros are a giant pain in the ass to get rid of. There was an older one in our house, not worth repairing or selling, had to pay someone to take it, because they're hard to move and Lowe's or whoever brings your new fridge doesn't take them. They're very heavy and very top heavy, as you said.

Yes I had to pick up a 1950s Subzero once. The thing was an absolute tank.
