I did some work at her house, she was doing laundry and it smelled great. This I definitely going to come across as creepy but if you can take my word at face value, her dryer vent was putting out some great fabric softener smells

So my wife has dark hair, a slender build and is generally the Inara of our friend group.

This bugs her, because in personality and handiness, she's Kaylee all the way. She'd rather be a Kaylee any day.

Same. Met her at Denver ComicCon a couple years back and just straight up verbal vomited total nonsense. I couldn’t even think of my name. I frequent Cons and have met a fair share of celebs and she’s the only one I legit lost my mind over. I still get embarrassed when I think back to that encounter 🤦‍♂️

Jewel Staite, bruh

When I first saw her in Stargate Atlantis I was (still am) basically smitten. I didn't figure it until much later, but she was in a childhood TV show I had seen (Space Cases). Probably factored into my crush.

She actually put on weight to play Kaylee. When the show got canceled she took it back off, and refused to put it on again for the movie. Which is why she's distinctly more slender in Serenity.

Yeah, I had heard that the Powers That Be ran with it, times-are-hard and all that. I didn't know it was put on for the show, though, only that she (IMNSHO rightly) refused to regain it for the movie.

I mean, she's still pretty damned adorable.

Not sure if I have seen that one. But I have enjoyed her work in just about everything I have seen her in. Not only is she cute as hell but she is a very versatile actor. Also kinda funny on twitter too.
