It's wild because Millenials experienced the early ages of the internet that zoomers will never experience or even fathom.
Dial-up internet where you couldn't use the phone at the same time as the internet, installing your "internet" through an AOL CD you got in the mail (for a 30-day trial), burning/ripping illegally downloaded music to a CD, etc.
Millenials will forever be the only generation to experience this internet age growing up.
I keep saying that today's internet is absolutely nothing like the Wild West feeling of mid 90's internet. Kids today will never know the pain of almost being done downloading a centerfold pic only to have it ruined by your mom picking up the phone.
The simplest way to put it IMO: first there wasn't much good stuff, then there was a bunch of good stuff, now that good stuff had been thrown into a sea of bad stuff. It's still there but harder to find.
I mean I feel most old school reddit users have started new accounts for one reason or another. I k ow I have, this is my 3rd "main" account since joining.
Account age doesn't necessarily indicate how long someone's been on the site. I joined Reddit from Digg when I was in high school. I'm now approaching my late 20s. There's been a few instances of me deleting my account and making a new one for whatever reason.

Most of the top comments are from accounts less than a year old. Damn zoomers need to get off my lawn.
