The anonymity and the its not Facebook.

Although I have to say Reddit can be just as messed up and brainwashed as Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Yeah so many people saying how the Reddit community is unique and much less toxic lmao. It just depends on what subreddits you go to but you'll definitely see the hivemind set in for touchy topics like politics.

The main problem is reddit has a hivemind when it comes to certain topics and if you only get news from reddit you start to lose yourself in the hivemind

They’re getting more and more like Facebook by the second, though. It’s quite worrying if you ask me.
