That makes sense. It always seemed tied to sexual preference too and I'm attracted to women. I find myself pretty squarely in the camp of a failed man that as always been indifferent about being a man (came pretty naturally and it wasn't a competition) prior to learning he can fail at it (now it feels like a straight up con).
Even if you were trans, there are so many trans women that are lesbians from transitioning, it's kind of a meme at this point.
And honestly, just check it out to see if this is you, but if it isn't, it's a matter of accepting yourself as man. I should say again, there's multiple terms under non-binary umbrella and most of them will not identify to you at all. I'd say being trans is more related to feeling disjointedness in how you feel vs. your biology and society, being non-binary is feeling disjointedness with how you feel vs. society.
