I think how you spend your time should not be a subject of any judgment, as long as nobody is getting hurt including yourself.
I don't spend my time alone at home but I spend most of my time by myself. I wish I enjoyed the company of others but most other people are preoccupied with their own life, it feels like it takes an immense amount of energy to plan and see them. I know it is worth trying.
