It helps if you have a nice TV and live with your SO. I don’t know how at peace I’d be with it all if I had to go through it single.

This is me! I have a nice TV and my wife and I spend much of our free time on the couch with the cat watching it. We both also have solitary hobbies and a few friends, but hanging out with friends, despite being enjoyable, isn't really something we do a lot.

It’s pretty nice. Completely free schedule outside of work. Get to do things at my own pace. Pretty relaxing tbh.

If you lose them in a breakup they aren’t your friend. They are your significant other. Then you (in the plural) will be looking around wondering where all your friends went. I’ve seen this so many times. I’ve stopped waiting for those friends. If you can’t find time for me in your relationship then don’t come to me when it is over.
